Julie is an Indie pop singer/songwriter from Basingstoke, UK, currently working on her debut self-penned album.

She has been selected as a Semi-finalist in the 2017 International Songwriting Competition (ISC) and was also featured in a 8 week TV series shown on Showbiz TV after reaching the Final in a National Songwriting Competition (Tin Pan Alley).

Julie also holds a LCM Certificate of Proficiency in Popular Music Vocals and ABRSM grades in Piano.

Although Julie wasn’t surrounded by music growing up, she had the opportunity to sing at the famous Albert Hall in London as a child with her school choir.

Julie later appeared in front of packed theatres and fronted different bands covering a variety of genres, including pop, rock, blues and country performing at various pubs, clubs and functions.

With immense passion and creativity inside, songwriting and crafting her own music was destined and she took to learning piano to further enhance this.

She has a voice that is both expressive and compelling, with a clean texture that allows the listeners to relate to every song that she writes.

Julie was recently described by David White of Indiesound as “one of this country’s greatest mass-appeal indie singer/songwriters”

Being in touch with both her emotional and playful sides, Julie has the ability to write catchy up-tempo songs along with emotional ballads.

The inspiration for her own songs comes from the depth and consciousness of her own experiences along with the experiences of others around her.

Although not writing from an early age, her songwriting skills have quickly been recognized by industry professionals around the globe leading to the opportunity to be filmed in the world famous RAK studios and work with legendary producer Stuart Epps.
